We're looking for an experienced Electrical Designer to join a collaborative engineering team working on building systems across a variety of facility projects. If you enjoy applying code knowledge, designing power distribution systems, and seeing your work come to life in the field. This could be a great fit.
What You'll Do:
- Apply working knowledge of building systems and applicable codes/standards (NFPA 70, 72, 101, 110, 780; UL 96A; ASHRAE 90.1; IBC and related building codes)
- Design power distribution systems, panel board schedules, and grounding/protection systems
- Perform lighting, load, and voltage drop calculations ensuring full code compliance. Support fire alarm, telecommunications (EIA/TIA), CCTV, and intrusion detection system design
- Coordinate power utilization connections and Conduct field inspections and produce detailed reports
- Perform quality control reviews on designs. Partner with Lead and Senior Engineers to ensure project success and on-time submissions
- High School Diploma (or equivalent).
- 4+ years of electrical design and drafting experience
- Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship
