This Position reports to:
Project Operations Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate certain aspects of a project. Each day, you will support Project Managers in management and execution of project activities. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division in Richmond, VA.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conducting analysis of plan versus actual project performance.
• Monitoring, controlling, and releasing requests for invoicing.
• Controlling documentation accuracy and consistency based on tasks assigned and procedures agreed upon with the customer.
• Reviewing project plans and ensuring that site safety and integrity topics are identified and addressed prior to the commencement of the project.

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or project management.
• 0-2 years of experience in project coordination or project management (internship experience acceptable).
• Basic understanding of project management principles and the project lifecycle.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Team.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
