Bridge Engineer

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Bridge Engineer position in our Richmond, VA office.

• Assisting senior level bridge engineers with analysis, design, and detailing for bridge and culvert reconstruction projects for State DOT and local government bridge projects.
• Ability to analyze, design, and detail local, State DOT bridge projects under the supervision of Senior level engineers চলে.
• Other responsibilities may include report preparation, field reconnaissance and inspection.
• Attend conferences and meetings when necessary/required.

• Experienced with Micro Station, AutoCAD, Open Bridge Modeler, AASHTOware, and MathCAD is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (with concentration in structural engineering) from an ABET Accredited College.
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• Preferably have their EIT Certificate (or the ability to obtain within 12 months) – PE License is a plus.
• Experience with DOT projects and their design software is a plus.
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete and steel design.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word & Excel.
• Desire to work in a team environment.
