Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. As an AWS Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting the Cloud Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AWS Infrastructure Engineer (No C2C)

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Pay Range: $70-75/hr

What's the Job?

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure solutions.

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable serverless applications using AWS Lambda and related services.

  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform to manage cloud resources.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.

  • Support migration and modernization efforts of legacy systems to AWS.

  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Document infrastructure configurations and procedures for ongoing support and improvements.

What's Needed?

  • Proven experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.

  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure automation.

  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

  • Experience with automation tools such as Cloud Formation, Terraform, or similar.

  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
