You will collaborate with our Preconstruction Team and Field Operations leader to develop accurate cost estimates and proposals for HVAC and plumbing systems for large-scale facilities such as hospitals, high-rises, government buildings, data centers, and universities.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Pre-Construction team. This role supports conceptual estimating efforts and technical proposal development for HVAC, sheet metal ductwork, plumbing, and piping systems.

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Foundational knowledge or strong interest in HVAC, ductwork, plumbing, and piping systems
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and cost data systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review construction documents and define project scopes
• Support conceptual estimating efforts to inform early-stage project budgeting
• Develop detailed cost estimates for HVAC, sheet metal ductwork, plumbing, and piping systems using industry-standard software
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate and competitive pricing
• Identify and propose value engineering solutions that optimize cost and performance
• Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and support sales teams with technical presentations
