Position Type:
Part Time (Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty). Teachers may instruct day, evening and weekend classes, including on‑campus, hybrid and distance learning.

• Teach college level courses in accounting, including distance learning on and off campus during day, evening and weekend sessions.

• Utilize instructional technology and Canvas or other online course management tools.

• Communicate effectively with a diverse student population.

• Assist the agency or state government if needed in emergencies.

• Master’s degree in Accounting
• OR Master’s degree in a related field (Business, Finance, Taxation) with at least 18 graduate semester credits in Accounting and a preference of a minimum of two years of full-time related work experience.
• Or a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Business, or Finance with significant certifications (e.g., CPA) and a minimum of two years of full-time related work experience.
• Ability to use instructional technology.

• Occupational experience in the field.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools.
• College level teaching experience, online experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• Ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

Rate per credit hour commensurate with education and relevant teaching experience. Part‑time status: not eligible for health or leave benefits, but may receive educational benefits through professional development and educational assistance policies.

Telework may be an option for certain eligible positions, subject to business needs and policy.
