Mathematics Teacher

Trinity Episcopal School seeks a full-time high school mathematics teacher to begin work for the  school year. The current opening is for a Precalculus and Honors Geometry teacher
; our desire is for candidates to be comfortable teaching all levels of math from Algebra I through AP Calculus.

nterested candidates should have the following qualities:

• 3-5 years of classroom experience teaching mathematics
• Ability and desire to collaborate both within and outside of the math department
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of multiple learning styles and ability to adapt as needed
• Willingness to contribute to the school community as a club sponsor, coach or other position working with students outside of the classroom
• Experience in a variety of instructional strategies to engage students’ critical thinking, including the innovative use of technology
• Love for the subject matter

The ideal candidate will have experience in a high school mathematics program and the ability to teach Algebra 1 through AP Calculus.
