Part Time (per credit hour, based on qualifications). This is an as-needed, course-by-course, semester basis appointment. Adjunct faculty may teach in-person on campus or in hybrid/distance formats. Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline and participate in departmental communication.

- Teach college-level Information Systems Technology (IST) courses as assigned, in-person on the main campus or in hybrid/online formats.
- Maintain currency in teaching discipline and current trends in community college education.
- Remain an active participant in departmental communication.
- Perform other duties as assigned and, if necessary, assist the agency or state government in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Develop syllabi, exams, and learning strategies aligned with course objectives and diverse student needs.

Required Qualifications:
Two years of related occupational experience. - Educational Requirements (Dependent on Course):
- Transfer courses require a Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Information Systems Technology (IST), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field.
- IST courses require a Bachelor’s degree in IST, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field.
- All Adjunct Faculty positions require excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to write syllabi and exams; ability to develop learning strategies, curriculum and assessments; and the ability to work with students of varying abilities from diverse backgrounds.
- Additional Considerations: Master’s degree in the teaching field, college teaching experience, demonstrated skills in working with diverse populations, experience using technology in the classroom and teaching online, and occupational experience with current certifications in the topic of interest.
