The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. Emergency/Essential Personnel No. EEO Category I-Faculty. Full Time or Part Time Part Time. Telework options are subject to change based on business needs.

Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty (day, evening and weekend) positions for an Engineering adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus, Fauquier Campus, and Luray-Page County Center as needed.

Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty listings are on a continuous, open until filled basis. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends.

Adjunct faculty teach a variety of day, evening and weekend classes.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.

KSA's/Required Qualifications

• Masters in the field or Masters with 18 graduate credits in the field.
• The ability to use instructional technology is required.

• Occupational experience in the field.
• Experience with Canvas or other online course management tools.
• College level teaching experience, online experience a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
• The ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.

Adjunct faculty may work at any of our sites, centers or campuses. Classes may be online, hybrid or in-person.
