Overview
Adjunct Faculty – Professional Programs. Part-time faculty teach a variety of day, evening and weekend classes. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. Compensation is per credit hour and based upon rank.
Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate level college courses, which may include distance learning, on and off campus, during the day, evening and weekends.
- Teach up to 12 credit hours in the Fall and Spring semester and up to 8 credit hours during Summer session, depending on student enrollment and staffing needs.
- A teaching demonstration may be required.
- Master’s degree; eighteen graduate semester hours in the discipline/prefix specific to the class.
- Certain developmental or technical courses may be taught by instructors with a Bachelor’s degree, a special certification, and/or work experience.
- Ability to use instructional technology is a plus.
- History of successful teaching or related experience.

Professional Programs- Administration of Justice, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Info Systems Technology, Business Management/Administration, Nursing, Surgical Technology, Dental Hygiene, Emergency Medical Tech, and Medical Records, among others.
