Overview
Part-Time Testing Center Specialist role at Brightpoint Community College.
Location:
Chesterfield (Chester Campus) with a schedule to include 20-29 hours weekly, Monday–Saturday, and potential variation throughout the year. Positions are limited to up to 29 hours per week and may require working at either campus as needed, including evenings and Saturdays.
- Provide proctoring for course tests and exams, placement testing, accommodated testing, and credentialing exams to students in various programs of study at Brightpoint Community College.
- Monitor email and communications related to testing operations.
- May be assigned special duties and may assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned and to work a flexible schedule at either campus (Chester or Midlothian) with potential evening and Saturday hours.
- Excellent communication, computer, and customer service skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse, and occasionally stressful environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule at either the Chester or Midlothian campuses and accept related duties in a relatively unsupervised capacity.
- Successful completion and passing of a background check is required for employment.
- Experience working with students in a higher education environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of online testing, Canvas, and Microsoft Office applications is strongly considered.
- Availability to work Friday and Saturday shifts is strongly preferred.

No - Travel between campuses may be required.
