Sales and Field Training Specialist - Richmond, VA

Overview

Position Summary This position is responsible for 1:1 field training and classroom training for agents and county office staff.

• Design, develop and implement training as designed and review training materials for accuracy.
• Travel to county offices to train office support staff, ensuring processes and procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with the Licensing Coordinator to ensure new agents and office staff meet pre-class requirements and that travel, lodging and expense logistics are coordinated.
• Coordinate training schedules with all trainers and SMEs conducting training during classes.
• Collaborate with Sales and Training & Field Operation to ensure agent and office staff training programs are coordinated and complimentary, identifying common training needs that can be leveraged to minimize duplication of work.
• Facilitate and conduct training as needed.
• Serve as a resource for training staff, sales staff and management.

• All other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

• Technical aptitude including the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding employee information.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Proficiency regarding Microsoft Office & Teams.

• Knowledge of insurance systems and business processes.
• Training and/or teaching experience.
