Overview
Adjunct Faculty Pool – EMS. EMS Adjunct Role Code FLSA Exempt. Part Time. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Telework options are subject to change based on business needs. Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis and may include distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends. Primarily face-to-face with the possibility of remote instruction.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, which may include distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's /Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
- Paramedic:
National Registry & VA state licensure as a paramedic - EMT-B:
State of VA certification in teaching area
Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with online teaching.
