Work Schedule:
Varies depending on class schedules and school needs.
- Effectively plan and teach Spanish courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences.
- Adhere to college policies, participate in departmental meetings, and assist with faculty committees as required.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned, including assisting the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Master’s degree in Spanish or related field; or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Spanish.
- Successful completion of the college’s pre‑employment security screening.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Community college, face‑to‑face, and online teaching experience; experience with Canvas.
- Demonstrated ability to emphasize student‑centered learning and provide an innovative e‑learning experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
Part‑time adjunct teaching faculty – ranked appointment without state benefits.
