Reynolds Community College is seeking a dynamic and student-centered individual to serve as a full-time Marketing/Business Instructor.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction in business and marketing courses, support student success through active engagement and advising, and contribute to program and curriculum development. This position requires a commitment to teaching excellence, continuous professional development, and service to the college and community.
- Teach transfer and non-transfer courses in Marketing and Business.
- Maintain an average teaching load of fifteen (15) credit hours per semester.
- Hold regular office hours and provide academic advising to students.
- Participate in curriculum development and assessment activities.
- Engage with the business community to support program relevance and student opportunities.
- Participate in college service, professional development, and assigned collateral duties.
- Teaching assignments may include day, evening, online, and dual enrollment courses at multiple locations.
Special Assignments:
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing, or an Associate’s degree in Marketing with demonstrated competency in the teaching field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience and/or college-level teaching experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the field of marketing and business education.
- Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use instructional technologies to enhance learning.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and oral/written communication skills.
- Experience in curriculum design, distance learning, and course development.
- Willingness to teach using new and emerging technologies.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and the success of a multicultural student population.
- Previous community college teaching experience is highly desirable.
