Dual Enrollment Adjunct Faculty - Multiple Disciplines

Virginia’s Community College System is seeking a part‑time adjunct faculty member to teach dual‑enrolled high school students in college courses across a range of disciplines. Classes will be taught in‑person in the Richmond area.

• Teach college‑level courses to dual‑enrolled high school students, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards.
• Design and deliver engaging, lecture‑style and synchronous online instruction (via Zoom and Canvas) as required.
• Develop assessment tools and provide timely feedback to support student‑centered learning.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

• Master’s degree in the discipline or related field (or Master’s with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline).
• Community college or high school teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with dual enrollment preferred.
• Experience teaching synchronous online courses via Zoom; familiarity with Canvas preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to student‑centered and inclusive learning environments.

• Immediate: ART, CST, HUM, MUS, PLS, PHI, SPA
• Recurring: HIS, ENG, PSY, REL

Part‑time adjunct, faculty‑ranked appointment. Telework options may vary. No required travel. Position may involve occasional duties during emergencies.
