School of BTT Welding (FRIDAY EVENING & SATURDAY DAY) Adjunct Faculty (Part-Time)

We are seeking an adjunct faculty member for the School of Business, Technology, and Trades (BTT), to teach Friday evening and Saturday day welding classes. Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course‑by‑course, semester basis as needed.

• Teach welding courses on Friday evenings and Saturday days.
• Develop syllabi, exams, learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.
• Maintain currency in welding discipline and in community college education trends.
• Engage in departmental communication and faculty collaboration.
• May be required to perform additional duties assigned or assist in emergencies.

• High school diploma with five years of current occupational experience in welding.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in writing syllabi and exams.
• Ability to develop learning strategies, curriculum, and assessments.
• Ability to work with students of varied abilities and diverse backgrounds.
• Possession of AWS certification and/or formal education in a certificate or apprenticeship program in welding from an accredited school (preferred).

• AWS certification.
• Formal education in accredited welding program.
