Employment Type: Part‑time, Exempt; no state benefits.
Pay: Per credit hour rate based on rank and discipline; salary commensurate with experience.

Adjunct faculty members are responsible for effectively planning and teaching Geography courses in a classroom environment to students with a variety of academic backgrounds and experiences. The position may include other duties as assigned, and staff may be required to assist the agency or state government during an emergency declaration by the Governor. Work schedule varies depending on class schedules and school needs.

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography instruction to credit and workforce students.
• Develop course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Provide student‑centered learning experiences and innovative e‑learning options.
• Assist with student support and feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and use the Canvas learning management system.
• Travel among Reynolds campuses and partner sites as needed.

• Master’s degree in Geography, or Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Geography.
• Community college teaching experience and experience with online teaching.
• Experience with Canvas LMS.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to student‑centered learning and innovative e‑learning.
