Overview
The full-time General Anesthesiologist in Virginia Beach will provide anesthesia at multiple surgical centers, collaborating with surgical teams and supervising certified registered nurse anesthetists.
Responsibilities- Administer general and regional anesthesia, monitor patient vital signs, perform airway management, and evaluate patients pre- and post-operatively.
- Oversee patient records, order tests, and mentor anesthesia staff and trainees.
- MD or DO degree, board-certified or eligible in anesthesiology
- Minimum 3+ years high-acuity anesthesia experience
- VA medical license and strong regional anesthesia skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient safety focus
