Position Overview

Chief Purpose of this position: This open‑rank, full‑time faculty position in the Division of Vascular and Critical Care Neurology provides patient care, engages in medical student and neurology resident/fellow education, and participates in clinical research. The faculty member will also serve on departmental and university committees as required.

Position Responsibilities
  • Clinical: Care of patients in both neurocritical care inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Teaching: Teach medical students and house staff; participate in formal conferences for house staff and students; attend weekly Grand Rounds and neurological lectures as requested.
  • Research: Participate in, and when appropriate lead, clinical research and clinical trials within the Division of Vascular and Critical Care Neurology.
  • Service: Serve on departmental, School of Medicine, and/or University committees; perform professional duties such as reviewing, conference organization, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or MD/PhD degree (or equivalent)
  • BC/BE in Neurology
  • Successful completion of a neurology residency at an ACGME accredited institution
  • Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with faculty, staff and students of all backgrounds

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience

FLSA Exemption Status: Exempt
