Job Summary

Anesthesiology Divisional Medical Director – HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist with extensive Medical Director experience to serve as the Division Medical Director for our Capital (VA, NH) and North Carolina Divisions. The role is senior‑level and will provide clinical and operational leadership, overseeing anesthesia services across all hospitals in the region, managing clinical teams, and supervising a group of facility Medical Directors.

The position includes approximately 60% clinical and 40% administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be based in Richmond, VA, and may be required to travel up to 50% of the time across Richmond, Asheville, and Manchester markets.

• Extensive Anesthesia Medical Director experience, preferably in multi‑location practices.
• Minimum of 5 years in Healthcare Leadership, ideally in hospital‑based physician services or healthcare consulting.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience and a working knowledge of healthcare systems management and financial oversight for clinical operations.
• Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
• Ability to travel up to 50% when needed.
