About Wine Trend, Inc.
Wine Trend, Inc. designs, fabricates, and installs high-end custom millwork and display solutions, specializing in wine retail environments, hospitality, and specialty interiors. Our projects combine craftsmanship, technical precision, and seamless execution.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with millwork expertise to manage custom millwork and display projects from award through installation and close-out. This role requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality.
Responsibilities- Manage millwork and custom display projects from contract award through final installation
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, architects, designers, general contractors, and internal teams
- Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Coordinate drafting, engineering, fabrication, finishing, logistics, and installation activities
- Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Manage material procurement, lead times, fabrication progress, and shipping
- Identify risks and resolve issues proactively
- Handle RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Lead internal project meetings and participate in external coordination meetings
- Oversee punch lists, final inspections, and project close-out
- 3–7+ years of project management experience in millwork, custom cabinetry, or architectural interiors
- Strong understanding of millwork materials, fabrication processes, finishes, and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel and project tracking tools
- Experience with retail displays, wine displays, or hospitality projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar construction documentation tools
- Experience working directly with fabrication shops
- Knowledge of construction sequencing and site coordination
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
