Communications Specialist

Overview

Insight Global is currently hiring multiple Communications Specialists for a client in the Richmond, VA area. The Communications Specialist is responsible for efficiently managing inbound and outbound calls in a professional fashion and performing complex review of documents to provide excellent customer service all while maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of the claims data. The candidates assist callers with general questions about the project, help callers register and/or navigate the portal, and escalate the call when needed.

This role will be on a hybrid schedule and only require working onsite in Richmond one day per week!

• Manage inbound and outbound calls in a professional manner.
• Perform complex review of documents to provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality of claims data.
• Assist callers with general questions about the project.
• Help callers register and/or navigate the portal.
• Escalate calls when needed.

• 1 year minimum of customer service experience - ideally with healthcare, claims, medical billing, etc.
• Strong knowledge in MS Office Suite – Excel specifically
• Strong customer facing experience - great verbal communication
