We are working with a regional general contractor who is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager for a mixed commercial portfolio in The Richmond area. This person will work closely with the experienced, Senior Superintendent and Project Manager to ensure smooth progress and coordination on all phases of construction.

Responsibilities- Assist the Superintendent in managing all aspects of construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings

- Coordinating with various subcontractors daily to problem-solve issues
- Ensuring work meets codes, regulations, and quality standards
- Maintaining comprehensive project documentation and daily logs
- Supporting Superintendent with workflow planning, safety policies, and inspections
- 2-5 years’ experience in construction
- Working knowledge of the entire construction process
- Ability to review and understand architectural and structural plans
- Strong communication, organization, critical thinking and people skills
- Comfortable with technology and various construction software programs
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
