You will be responsible for shaping accurate, competitive cost estimates from early tender through to final pricing, working across fit‑out and refurbishment projects in Melbourne.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects
- Analyse tender documents, drawings and specifications to identify risks
- Collaborate closely with the pre‑construction and project delivery teams to refine scopes and pricing strategies
- Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes
- Contribute to bid strategy, value engineering, and margin analysis
- Support contract negotiations and respond to post‑tender enquiries
- 3-5 years experience in estimating within the commercial fit‑out
- Strong understanding of construction methods, cost structures, and risk management
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and services documentation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercially astute with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
