Job Overview – Construction Project Manager (Corporate Interiors) Compensation: $100,000 – $125,000/year + bonus

Richmond, VA
Atlantic Group is hiring a Construction Project Manager (Corporate Interiors) in Richmond, VA for our client, supporting corporate interior buildouts and renovation projects. In this on-site role, you will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, overseeing scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and execution. You will collaborate closely with superintendents, architects, designers, and ownership teams to deliver high-quality interior projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities- Project Planning & Execution: Manage corporate interior construction projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Scheduling & Trade Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating subcontractors and vendors to support efficient sequencing and timely delivery.
- Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, review change orders and invoices, and support cost control efforts to maintain financial performance.
- Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Procure and manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with contract requirements.
- Client & Design Team
Collaboration:
Partner with architects, designers, and clients to support design intent, constructability, and effective field coordination.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience managing corporate interiors or commercial interior construction projects with a general contractor, preferably within the Richmond market.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of corporate interior buildouts, tenant improvements, renovation workflows, and local permitting and inspection processes.
- Skills & Attributes: Highly organized professional with strong communication and coordination skills, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach in an on-site environment.
