Overview
We’re looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Estimator to join a dynamic team in Richmond, VA. This is an opportunity to be part of a well‑established general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high‑quality commercial construction projects across the Mid‑Atlantic. Responsibilities- Prepare accurate estimates and budgets for exciting construction projects
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and subcontractors
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Assist in bid preparation and proposal development
- 8-10+ years of estimating experience in commercial, education, or retail preferred
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and Excel
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive
