Responsibilities
- Observe contractor operations on-site and perform field soil, asphalt, and concrete tests under supervision
- Prepare accurate and detailed field reports with test results and observations
- Conduct basic lab tests on soil and concrete and document findings
- Evaluate site conditions and offer recommendations as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients, contractors, and technical staff regarding construction issues
- Some construction or field‑testing experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read plans, follow specs, and write routine reports
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and physical stamina (lifting up to 70 lbs, walking/standing all day)
- Valid, clean driver’s license and willingness to pass background, drug, and driving‑record screening
