  • Keep a daily log of all activities and site conditions, manage the punch list, and oversee the closeout process through owner/architect acceptance.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to formulate the project schedule, ensuring proper methods and sequencing of installation, and maintain HITT quality standards.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with all subcontractors, fostering community relationships that enhance business opportunities and ensuring fair treatment of subcontractors.
  • Ensure complete and accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets, understand subcontractor scope to avoid unnecessary change orders, and identify problems early to provide solutions.
  • Organize the site team, arrange temporary facilities/utilities, and identify long‑lead items that need expediting.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and site operations team throughout the life of the project.
Qualifications
  • Four‑year degree from an accredited university in construction, engineering, or business strongly preferred; additional work experience acceptable.
  • Five (5) or more years of commercial construction experience, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Experience with tenant renovations, service work, work in occupied spaces, weekend work, or fast‑paced projects is a plus.
  • Mastery of building processes and best practices.
  • Ability to organize necessary resources—people, tools, and time—to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
  • Previous superintendent or project lead experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with sector/project‑specific software systems (Microsoft Office suite, Pro Core, Adobe, Blue Beam, etc.).
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.
