Overview

Associate Research Consultant - Bilingual French English at CoStar Group. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of commercial real estate contacts, ensuring data in CoStar’s database is current, accurate, and complete, and building relationships with brokers and real estate professionals to gather real-time market information.

Location and schedule:
This position is in office Monday through Friday.

An Associate Research Consultant is responsible for maintaining data quality in the CoStar database, capturing market-critical information, and helping clients leverage CoStar’s marketing platforms to make informed decisions with high-quality market data. The role involves daily outreach to interview brokers, property owners, developers, and other real estate professionals to gather information, verify details with multiple sources, and compile property owner profiles and project developments from proposal through completion.

CoStar delivers real-time, verified commercial real estate data and analytics to clients globally.

• Contribute to the growth of an accurate and complete database of commercial real estate inventory
• Conduct 50+ daily inbound and outbound calls with brokers, developers, investors, and other real estate professionals to obtain real-time property and transaction data
• Investigate new space listings, recent sale and lease transactions, building ownership, and construction in a market
• Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with clients
• Partner with clients to position and market their properties on the CoStar platform for the market/audience
• Dissect trends and collaborate with regional teams to qualify data that supports market storytelling

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (major in real estate, business, management, or comparable programs)
• Track record of commitment to prior employers
• Flexibility to work shifts aligned with EST, CST, MST, or PST time zones
• Professional or internship experience in customer service, real estate, or a comparable industry
• Permanent US work authorization
• Fluency in both French and English is required

• Natural curiosity, persistence, and ability to conduct thorough investigative research
• Proven success performing to metrics or KPI
• Experience communicating with internal partners and external clients by phone
• Goal-oriented, able to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to develop and grow client relationships through effective interviews with commercial real estate professionals
• Customer-focused approach and collaboration with clients
• Ability to work in a team or as an individual contributor
• Knowledge or experience in the commercial real estate industry
• Excel proficiency to manipulate data, filter, and develop basic formulas
• Accurate data capture and entry
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations at a high-growth company
