Role Description

Role Description:
We are looking for a Benefits Coordinator for a full-time position on-site at our office in Midlothian, VA. The Benefits Coordinator will assist internal team members and clients with the administration of group benefits programs, including, but not limited to, the responsibilities outlined below. A hybrid work schedule can be discussed after 9 months of service, and opportunities for advancement will be evaluated based on performance and areas of individual interest.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Managing benefit and eligibility information in Employee Navigator and carrier websites
  • Assisting members and employer contacts with questions about coverage and benefit offerings
  • Auditing carrier invoices against internal systems to ensure accurate billing
  • Supporting internal team requests for ad-hoc reports and client-facing communication pieces
  • Directing calls from members and vendors to relevant internal parties
Qualifications

Required
:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred
:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2-3 Years Experience in Professional Services Setting
  • Knowledge of group insurance policies and processes
  • Advanced Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, Xlookup, Visualizations)
  • Familiarity with Canva, Tableau, and Clip Champ

Salary: $48,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience

  • Increases to compensation (raises and/or bonuses) evaluated upon completion of agreed-upon milestones
