Position Overview / Responsibilities- Support the early stages of Medicaid system modernization and strategy planning
- Develop and document detailed requirements for a Fiscal Agent RFP
- Assist in transition planning from legacy systems to new vendor‑operated solutions
- Analyze current operations and identify opportunities to streamline and modernize processes
- Act as a liaison between state stakeholders, vendors, and operational teams
- Occasionally travel for stakeholder meetings or workshops (once per quarter or every 4‑5 months)
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant in Medicaid operations
- Prior experience developing requirements for a Fiscal Agent RFP
- Deep understanding of Medicaid operational services (claims, provider management, fiscal operations)
- Experience working for or with state agencies, consulting firms, or Medicaid vendors
- Strong familiarity with Medicaid modernization strategies and fiscal agent transitions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across diverse teams
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Located on East Coast
