Loyalty Automotive is one of the fastest-growing, locally owned automotive groups in the region. We proudly own and operate five new-car dealerships across Richmond and Williamsburg, including:
Toyota, Nissan, Volkswagen, Chevrolet, and Cadillac, along with a high-volume used car super center in Petersburg and three collision repair centers. Coming soon, Loyalty will be adding a 6th new car dealership to the Richmond area!

Our sales volumes are strong, our service departments rank among the best in the country, and our focus is simple: build great teams and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

We are currently seeking a results-driven, hands-on Automotive General Sales Manager to help lead and grow our Richmond operation.

THE ROLE

The General Sales Manager plays a key leadership role in driving performance, accountability, and culture within the sales department. This position works closely with the General Manager to achieve sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals while developing a motivated, high-performing team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage day-to-day sales operations
  • Motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Partner with the General Manager to set monthly and annual sales and profitability targets
  • Conduct effective sales meetings and performance reviews
  • Oversee new and used vehicle inventory management
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience aligned with strong CSI performance
  • Leverage CRM and digital tools to maximize lead performance and close rates

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years of automotive dealership management experience
  • Proven success driving sales performance and profitability
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and digital lead management
  • Results-oriented, data-driven mindset
  • Professional communication style and appearance
  • Hands-on leadership approach – someone who leads from the front
