Automotive Ford Truck Service Technician; diesel​/commercial

Sheehy Auto Stores is seeking skilled Ford Truck Service Technicians to join our team. This position is at a stand-alone truck shop with an extremely high volume. Qualified technicians are in high demand. To retain good service techs, we offer top compensation and a positive work environment. You will diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles while maintaining positive client relationships.

• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• Discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor
• Communicate additional service requests to the service advisor
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman
• Provide labor time estimates to the service advisor
• Monitor repair time and update the service advisor regularly
• Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Complete repair stories and documentation for clients
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., hazardous waste disposal)

• High school diploma or GED
• One to three months of related experience and training
• Must be authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks, MVR, and drug screening
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
