Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Planner and Scheduler to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules that maximize productivity while minimizing downtime. Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather input and align schedules with operational needs.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes.
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts and proactively resolve them.
  • Prepare and present regular updates on project timelines and status to stakeholders.
  • Utilize scheduling software to track progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in resource allocation and management to optimize efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing scheduling processes and recommending enhancements.
Qualifications
  • Some College experience is a plus
  • Proven experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in a manufacturing or operational setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Distribution Experience
  • Budgeting / Forecasting Experience
