Position Title:
Administrative Assistant for the Real Estate Foundation (Admin & Office Spec III)

To provide greater efficiency and effectiveness in the general operations of the TCC Real Estate Foundation and Finance, process gifts of property, manage properties for optimal return, and support TCC programs and students through facility renovation and construction.
Functional Responsibilities- Manage the office of the TCC Real Estate Foundation, including general operations and functions.
- Provide administrative support: schedule meetings, coordinate attendance, prepare minutes, and ensure record‑keeping.
- Liaise with Board members: set meetings, take minutes, produce Board packets and presentations for the Director.
- Coordinate procurement activities for the Financial Services area and serve as a liaison to other TCC departments.
- Assist with special assignments or emergency duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to draft documents, reports, agendas, and minutes and distribute them timely.
- Experience with online meeting software (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with Board members and maintain relationships with administrators, staff, and the public.
- Effective prioritization and adaptability to changing priorities, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work well in a fast‑paced executive environment.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining positive relationships at all organizational levels.
- Experience in public communication, both face‑to‑face and electronic.
- Administrative support in an executive environment.
- Experience in a state or government agency or educational institution.
- Virginia driver’s license and ability to operate a state vehicle.
Required. Driver must maintain a Virginia driver’s license.
