Accounting Clerk

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting various administrative accounting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Richmond, VA (5 days on-site)

Pay: $20.05/hour

What's the Job?

• Perform administrative and clerical accounting functions to support daily operations
• Prepare digital imaging of accounting documents and archive records
• Print checks, invoices, and statements, and prepare them for mailing to customers
• Respond to customer service inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Process check deposits and handle daily banking transactions

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of two years' experience working in a financial environment
• Knowledge of large-scale accounting and business intelligence systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
