About the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond

The Jewish Community Federation of Richmond (JCFR) mobilizes our collective energy and philanthropy to build and sustain a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming Jewish community—locally, in Israel, and around the world. We connect people to meaningful moments in Jewish life, support those in need, champion Israel and world Jewry, respond to global crises, foster Jewish learning, and inspire innovation.

Rooted in the core values of tzedakah (charity and social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world), gemilut chasadim (acts of loving-kindness), and Torah learning, we are guided by the belief that every person matters and that together, we are stronger.
