We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant position for a large, reputable corporation in the Richmond, VA area.

This position will report to the Manager of Accounting & Reporting, work closely with a strong team, and will have lots of exposure to executive leadership. The company regularly promotes from within and has a great corporate culture and team oriented atmosphere.

• Monthly closing including account reconciliations, journal entries, and various accruals
• Perform technical accounting research
• Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Respond to internal and external inquiries
• Perform internal controls for assigned processes
• Design and prepare reports to meet various internal requirements
• Complete special projects as assigned, especially related to SAP enhancements

• BS Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and ERP systems
• Manufacturing industry and international company experience are preferred
