What you’ll be doing :- Ensuring the accuracy and reconciliation of the general ledger, sub‑ledgers, and all bank reconciliations.
- Supporting the operations of the accounting department, which includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Maintaining documented accounting policies and procedures and a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Participating in the production of monthly financial reports, ensuring that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Assisting with preparation for external audits and providing information for all annual audits.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
- Other supporting duties as assigned by the Controller or CFO.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration (required).
- 10+ years of related experience (required).
- Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant (preferred).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to successfully manage numerous assignments and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within teams to achieve goals.
- Detail‑oriented, willing to work weekends and long hours.
- Valid driver’s license (required).
- Some travel to operational branches may be required.
- Willing to participate in and pass F&R’s pre‑employment screening, including a background investigation, drug screening, and driving record.
