Vice President of Accounting

We are working with a growing client on a search for a VP of Accounting. This position is located in Richmond, VA but they are open to relocation.

This role will oversee and perform in general accounting, treasury, tax, etc.

This range is provided by LHH. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Duties:

• Responsible for audit prep and oversight of tax filings
• Oversight of month-end close cycle, including consolidation of all business segments
• Serve as team leadership with technology
• Manage Accounting team, providing hands‑on guidance and leadership
• Work closely with finance on reporting

Qualifications:

• 7 plus years of experience in Accounting with leadership focus
• Advanced degree in Accounting or MBA preferred
• Experience in Financial Services, insurance, or related field a plus
