Tax Accountant

Overview

ICX Group is seeking a Tax Accounting professional, to come onboard a successful and growing Public Accounting Firm, with potential to move towards Partnership in the firm!

• Prepare and review a variety of tax returns, including individual (1040), partnership (1065), C corporation (1120), S corporation (1120S), and trust/estate (1041) filings.
• Leverage a strong background in public tax accounting to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of client work.
• Handle a diverse client base, balancing business, individual, and trust engagements throughout the year.
• Contribute to and lead process improvement initiatives, including refining procedures, enhancing work papers, and identifying operational efficiencies.
• Participate in and, when appropriate, lead client meetings; build strong relationships and deliver proactive advisory and tax planning services.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues, providing clear guidance to clients and colleagues.

• Active CPA Licensure or EA desired
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance; 2+ years tax experience required
• Entrepreneurial minded, excellent communicator
