Position: Summer 2026 Sales Intern

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales Intern
. The right candidate will assist the Sales Manager and Sales Team with the management of all Sales functions. Learn the different aspects of the Sales department and the methods within the company, support company policies, suggest improvements within the system and execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • The intern will also be encouraged to explore other areas of interest to learn more about the general operations of the company; vision both within and outside of the assigned department that will be supplemental to the learning experience
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to travel overnight
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
  • Must currently be enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university and seeking a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to sit for the majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate
