Position Description

To grow sales and market share for an assigned territory by promoting, selling and servicing vascular products. Build business by aggressively developing new accounts and driving therapy adoption of DCB, Atherectomy, and the full PV product portfolio across the continuum of care for PAD. Practice good, ethical territory management in terms of organization, planning, administration and expense planning and control. Train medical staff on products and procedures.

Position Responsibilities

Planning/Results Orientation

  • Consistently meet and exceed AOP, sales budget and account development targets (QoQ and YoY)
  • Develop and execute accurate and on-going sales plans to achieve sales objectives
  • Maintain and grow market share across all product lines
  • Identify opportunities within current and new customer base; develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and account penetration
  • Leverage the full product portfolio to maximize sales and share performance
  • Monitor key market trends and competitive information and inform sales management of relevant data/changes
  • Ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory geographic areas for exposure and time management
  • Effectively manage expenses to drive business growth and adhere to company policies
  • Adhere to financial, regulatory, quality compliance standards and requirements

Influence and Selling

  • Identify, establish and maintain productive relationships with key decision makers, customers and staff that drive business and therapy adoption
  • Drive value in accounts through disciplined pricing resulting in strong ASPs
  • Effectively use contracts to drive high compliance and pull-through of all products
  • Leverage APV, Corporate Accounts, and CVG partnerships to capitalize on opportunities
  • Probe to understand and confirm customer needs and overcome objections
  • Plan and manage referral marketing resources to drive outcomes
  • Build consensus, gain commitments and close business
  • Plan and implement effective sales/product presentations
  • Maintain and expand existing business; develop new opportunities
  • Represent company at industry conferences and target specific customers to gain leads
  • Develop and implement strategies to counter competitors

Customer Service

  • Educate customers to ensure products and features are understood and used effectively
  • Respond to requests and resolve complaints promptly and effectively
  • Plan cases with physicians and manage expectations to improve outcomes
  • Engage physicians in clinical conversations about advantages of Peripheral Vascular products
  • Conduct business with ethics and FDA-compliance

Communication

  • Work with internal functions to meet targets (inventory audits, service protocols, etc.)
  • Communicate market intelligence promptly to District Sales Manager and others
  • Contribute to a strong team effort

Self-Development and Product Knowledge

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical/clinical knowledge
  • Recognize competitive products and relate features to company products
  • Participate in product and skills development programs and manage own development
  • Maintain knowledge of the reimbursement landscape
Basic Qualifications

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME

  • Bachelor’s degree, AND
  • 5+ years of B2B sales or healthcare sales experience

OR

  • 5 years total sales experience with a minimum of 2 years Medtronic sales experience (Bachelor’s Degree Required)
