Registered Nurse (RN) - Primary/Specialty Care

Join Kelsey‑Seybold Clinic as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Primary/Specialty Care. The RN provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area, leads the unit under a Nurse Supervisor or RN Coordinator, and applies clinical nursing knowledge to ensure patient and family safety and comfort according to legal, organizational, and professional standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area.
  • Lead the unit under supervision of a Nurse Supervisor or RN Coordinator.
  • Apply clinical nursing knowledge and demonstrated skills for patient safety and comfort.
  • Utilize critical thinking to identify priorities and make judgments on the basic and comprehensive needs of multiple patients.
  • Facilitate appropriate and timely care.

  • Salary Range: $74,910 – $92,536 (based on education, experience, certifications, etc.)
  • Qualifications
    • Education: Must graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program. Preferred:
      Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
    • Experience: Required: 6 months in a clinical area. 1-year KSC experience may be considered in lieu of 6 months RN experience with approval from Sr Dir Nursing. Preferred:
      Two years of ambulatory care.
    • License(s): Required:
      Current and valid Texas RN license. Preferred:
      Specialty nursing certification in ambulatory care or relevant specialty area.
    • Special

      Skills:

      Required:
      Ability to use equipment and supplies for the assigned patient population, including CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy. Computer experience. Preferred:
      Windows-based computer skills, EPIC experience.
    • Other: Required:
      Current BLS through American Heart Association. Preferred: ACLS and/or PALS.
