This position is for 2nd shift Mon-Fri 9a-5:30p. This position is responsible for ensuring products are accurately pulled, packaged and shipped in a timely manner.
- Fulfilling daily international and domestic shipping requirements
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by making sure outgoing orders are accurately packed and shipped in a timely manner
- Ensuring packages are shipped daily based on the assigned order of priority
- Receiving and distributing incoming shipments to the appropriate department and/ or personnel
- Monitoring and maintaining effective recordkeeping (i.e. Receiving Log, etc.)
- Pulling/ re-stocking products by lot number, based on a first in first out basis
- Keeping the department clean and organized
- Effectively working, interacting and communicating with co-workers and lead/supervisor
- Demonstrating professional behavior while working in a team approach when managing challenging situations
- Assisting in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all staff
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred
- Previous or similar work experience is preferred, but not required
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties
- Must be able to complete BRC shipping training program
- Must demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary
- Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary
- Must be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment
- Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, climb occasionally during the duration of the shift
