* Reviews, researches, and evaluates mobile computing devices, OS and application software.
* Participates in the analysis, recommendation, installation/configuration, testing, implementation, documentation and enhancements of the mobile computing environment.
* Recommends and implements policy and procedure standards for server operations that protect the Fort Bend County resources.
* Works with outside vendor services to ensure that support contracts are adhered to and services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.
* Research and recommend technology in support of long range capacity planning to assist IT management in determining future needs in hardware, software and service acquisitions.
* Engineers and provides support escalation for mobile device hardware and infrastructure.
* Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
** MINIMUM

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*** Bachelor’s degree; or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years job experience may be substituted in lieu of degree in addition to required experience.
* 4 years job-related work experience. Mobile Device Management Software experience. Intune and Workspace One preferred.
* Strong technical diagnostic skills in troubleshooting hardware and software products.
* Must stay informed of technological advances and trends in the computer industry.
* Strong organizational skills; verbal and written communication skills.
* Interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials.
** STARTING SALARY RANGE:** $32.26 - $40.33 hourly based on qualifications
