Overview
The Dispatcher is responsible for all aspects of the communications/PBX equipment operation, any situations directly related to communications/PBX, radio dispatch to maintenance and/or security and/or building services.
Responsibilities- Manage and operate communications/PBX equipment and respond to situations related to communications/PBX.
- Provide radio dispatch to maintenance, security, and/or building services as needed.
- Minimum Education
:
High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. - Minimum Work Experience
:
Two years dispatcher/PBX experience in a medical or emergency environment preferred. - Required Licenses/Certifications
:
None - Required Skills, Knowledge, And Abilities
:
Computer knowledge with working knowledge of software programs, Word, Access, and Basic PC. Strong communication skills, clear speaking with PBX, dispatching experience. Typing minimum 35 words per minute. Bilingual a plus.
