JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as the point of contact for The Office of Juvenile Justice Prevention (OJJDP):
Second Chance Act Addressing the Needs of Incarcerated Parents and Their Minor Children. Administration grant management functions and project related activities necessary to successfully meet the project objectives. Participates in planning of programs, policies or objectives for own work group and department.
- Responsible for ensuring all grant objectives, requirements and required reporting activities are completed in a timely manner.
- Establishes and supports required planning and implementation committees.
- Ensures processes are in place for communication among partners, data sharing and data driven decision making.
- Responsible for data safety and data integrity within Fort Bend County Behavioral Health Services.
- Coordinates meetings with key personnel and is responsible for grant budget management and monitoring.
- Ability to synthesize research and evidence-based practices as related to the project.
- Coordinates and provides training within the scope of expertise.
- Responsible for development of information, outreach, and marketing materials for the program.
- Works with the technology management team to assist with the data integration for this project.
- Monitors timelines, budgets and deliverables to ensure grant requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Identifies needed resources and processes to stakeholders as well as individuals served.
- Responsible for written and verbal communications among stakeholders, consultants, and funders.
- Monitors compliance with documentation and data collection procedures;
Ensures implementation of best-practices. - Evaluates and monitors outcomes and progress toward project goals.
- Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
- Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice or related field.
- 2 years’ experience providing project management; experience with criminal justice and behavioral health preferred.
- Ability to manage effectively and efficiently multiple complex tasks;
Proven proficiency with both oral and written communication skills. - Organizational skills and the ability to complete multiple tasks are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials are also required.
- Flexible work schedule may be required in order to respond to clinical needs and other emergency situations.
SALARY RANGE: $30.40 - $38.05 hourly based on qualifications
CLOSING DATE: August 20, 2023
