Part‑Time After‑School Sub/Floating Site Program Manager: ($20‑$24) per hour (based on education, experience)

Immediate

2:30 pm – 6:30 pm (must be available to work the full schedule Monday through Friday) as needed at various locations within the district. Must be able to work occasional early‑release days – the school early‑release schedule 11:15 am – 6:30 pm and any area in the Lamar area schools as needed.

• Huggins Elementary – 1 Huggins Drive, Fulshear, TX 77441
• Long Elementary – 907 Main Street, Richmond, TX 77469

• Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
• One year of supervisor/management experience.
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
• At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program.
• All candidates will be required to provide proof of the previously listed qualifications (via transcript) and/or verifiable reference letters for verification during the interview process. Please be prepared to show a copy of transcripts for the required educational requirements and references for verification of experience working in a licensed childcare setting for 6 months or more.

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents and other observations.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character‑building that expands school‑day learning in a meaningful way.
• Using your coursework training and our in‑person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well‑being and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
• Excellent communication skills with varied audiences including children, parents, staff and school personnel.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety and well‑being of all children.
• Meet regularly with the Area Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
